- OUR STORY
After year at sea, we decided to sail into the calm, jade-green waters of the Rio Dulce. Towering jungle cliffs embraced us, and the chorus of tropical birds felt like a welcome home. What began as a brief stop became love at first sight—its beauty, its people, its peace. Inspired, we traded the open ocean for a new adventure: creating a small, self-sustainable resort where guests could reconnect with nature.
Buena Vista Bay Resort is dedicated to sustainable tourism, offering guests an authentic jungle experience with eco-friendly accommodations, local organic cuisine, and nature tours around our beloved Rio. Our mission is to preserve the natural environment while providing memorable adventures.

We offer three charming A-frame bungalows, each designed for comfort and a close connection with nature. Every bungalow features a plush king-size bed, ample closet space, and a work desk for those who wish to blend relaxation with productivity. A private toilet and a unique jungle-style outdoor shower bring a touch of adventure to your stay. Two bungalows overlook the sparkling pool, while the third offers serene views of the river.
